Do you remember when you downloaded the package (this error was in a version that was dowloaded by 4 people)?

I downloaded it this morning after the tweet went out about its release.

Ok, then it should work. It sounds a bit strange, but I'll see if I can recreate this tomorrow.
Have you tried to clear the browser cache (just to see if that's the case)?
Do you log on as administrator? If I remember the code correctly it's only the administrator that gets access to the section as standard.

The settings window comes up OK and when I click save the bubble pops up to say it's installed and to log off and on again to see the new section...
I don't see a Newletters checkbox option in Sections when editing the Administrator User or creating a new user.

Also tried to install it on Umbraco 4.0.1 - same problem - am i doing something wrong? The install goes fine with no errors but after re-logging in (as administrator) there's no new icon/section in Sections?

I also couldn't see the section, just had to enable the newsletter section on my user first

I know this has been a while since the last post, but I think I found out what the true problem is. I just don't know what's causing it. During the install, there is a SQL error resulting in the necessary SQL tables/data not being created. This is what the log table gives me:

To add to this, I am not sure if everyone is aware, but I felt kind of silly after finding this out. SQL server 2000 will not work :P
You get my error when trying to install it on a SQL server 2000. After switching to our 2008 machine it went fine.

I installed the beta version 2, after installing this, I cannot see the Newsletter section. Please tell me how to enable this
